reading the short composition: The rapid growing population in Bangladesh is a provocative question of today. This problem has assumed serious proportions. It has created difficulties in every sphere of our life. As it is a serious problem, we have to solve it for the sake of our existence.

Bangladesh is a small country of 55,598 square miles; but now the total population is more than 15 cores. The density of population per square mile is 1926 according to the census –of 1987 mile. There are many causes of rapid growth of population. They growth of population in the country is the result of two main variables- the birth rate and the death rate. There is a large difference between the two rates. That is why the growth of population is high. Climatic influence, superstition, and poverty are some of the main causes of high rate of birth.

It creates problems of food, clothing, housing, health, education and other spheres of life. If this population explosion is not checked immediately, people will have to make their houses in agricultural land ad forest. As the area of Bangladesh is very small, this vast population will find no place to live in and they will have to starve. In addition, unemployment problem, educational problem and energy crises will become acute.

The whole nation suffers the grievous consequences for over population. Therefore, a family must not consist of more than two children. Early marriage must be totally banned; our womenfolk must be made aware of better and prosperous life. Then only can get rid of this problem.
